Dr. Erin Van Dokkenburg

Dr. Erin Van Dokkenburg graduated from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2011 and has been practicing in Chicago since then. She previously worked with Dr. Schoessow before starting to work relief at our location in Oak Park. Dr. Erin has been surrounded by animals her whole life and grew up on a small dairy farm in New Jersey. She studied animal acupuncture at the Chi Institute and is interested in soft tissue surgery, dentistry, and animal behavior. She lives with her family, which includes two dogs, two cats, and fish. Dr. Erin loves to hear funny stories about her patients and see the bond between people and their pets.
